和名の由来  ノイバラより葉に葉に光沢があることにより付いた名前
花の特徴  ノイバラの仲間で葉に光沢があり，茎が地面を這う特徴がある。ノイバラに比べて花は大型　花柱に毛が生えるのも特徴　　ノイバラのように花が密集して咲かない
